BTB Buzz for October
This Month we are spotlighting Lucas Doyle, Carrier Team Lead!
“I received my degree in Operations Management and Information Systems from Northern Illinois University in 2010. Growing up, my dad was an OTR truck driver so I gained experience in the transportation industry at a young age although I had no idea at that time that I would also end up also working in the industry. I have been in transportation for about 12 years now, and just celebrated 10 years here at BTB. I was the 2nd hire here so I started out doing everything from tracking to mail sorting while I learned about the business and then transitioned quickly into carrier sales. After that I was moved to Pod Leader in the Carrier Sales department and am now the Operations Manager here at BTB, overseeing the carrier sales department as well as being a bridge between them and the Sales and Accounting departments to make sure we are all operating as a cohesive unit with the same goals in mind.
After growing up together on the rural western side of the state, my wife and I both went to NIU and have now called Plainfield, IL home for the past 12 years. We currently have 3 boys(Finn 8, Arlo 6, and Odin 2) with another on the way, ETA early 2023 and also two dogs Pickles and Olive. As a family we love to spend as much time as we can outdoors, we love fishing, boating, mountain biking, golfing, and just playing in the “mud kitchen” in our backyard.”
